Our Handicaps Can Give Birth to our Uniqueness.

Life is full of those, handicaps. And what we do is keep pointing fingers at which one we think is restraining us from « living ».

The thing is, most of those handicaps are ones WE create with our own minds and we mold them in form of excuses and reasons to postpone or give up on what we really want to do.

They come in many forms, those handicaps (physical, financial, social etc) but if you don’t have the right mindset, be sure that even if you were to be immune to all the handicaps of the world, you’d still find a way to be paralysed and do nothing simply because your mindset isn’t strong enough, determined enough and focused enough.

You may not ‘be able’ to do this or the other but you can make « I have made up my mind » your very first step and build on that. Then you can look around, truly see the tools you have control over, dust them off, fix the broken, bring them to life and then start the manufacturing of your vision, one ray of light at a time.

And that’s how our handicaps give birth to our uniqueness, when we use them with the tools we’ve been given, to create something new, something that screams our name and our originality.

The key to do that is to make your motives bigger than your handicaps.

It is facing the choice between settling down for your handicaps and between shining through them.

When you make it a habit to always choose the bright life over the dull one, that’s how your mind will find the strength to follow through that choice over and over instead of being weak enough to be dragged down by fear.

So make a habit out of a strong mindset and let your handicaps (most of which you created) be the essence of the unique value you will bring to this world!

What’s the one handicap you’ve been settling with lately and that you’re willing to let go of and shine through?!
