Finding your passion isn’t just about careers and money. It’s about finding your authentic self - the one you’ve buried beneath other people’s needs.

Hello lovely people , I wish you all  a happy December (favourite month). I love it when the first day of a month happens to be a Monday :new fresh start, that's why I decided to share with you today my recent passion of making pastries ( and eating them too) , actually the word "obssesion" will suit me better.

Before I start talking about it I want to tell you the story of Kawtar when she's passionated about something : first of all , I start talking about It everywhere to everybody , then I go on Tumblr and follow all the blogs that blog about It , and I go on Youtube and suscribe to all the channels that are concerned about that Thing and same thing for the other social media. Then I get more physical and buy books, Cd's or every buyable stuff that relates to that Thing , after that I start living by It and giving it a big space in my daily life. So this is how it goes and this is how I know when I'm passionate about something , and this is what happened with baking pastries, I recently added it to the list of things I would spend a whole day doing and enjoying.

Yes I would spend hours and hours in the kitchen following the recipe step by step , and enjoying every little one from sifting the flour , carefully measuring the ingredients , and patiently waiting for chocoalte or butter to melt on a low heat, until stirring it all together and slowly putting it in the oven to rest in peace. And I sometimes laugh at myself when I stupidly think I'm smart and decide to skip a step and screw it all up , but I do not regret it because I always learn a new trick by my reckless behavior .

You might be thinking now : " why on earth is she telling me this?!!" Well , first of all as I said I like to talk about  my passions;but most importantly I wanted to make you realise how much it is important to find and live your passions because they're what makes us feel alive and what bring up the sensitive wild and lightful part of us ,and you should know that it's okay if you haven't found your passion yet you just got to step out of your comfort zone ,try a lot of activities and say yes to new excperiences until you find that one thing that will set your heart on fire , that thing that you can spend a whole day doing without getting bored . When you do or if you already found it let me know , I really like to hear people talking about their passions; there's a quote that goes :"

I fall in love with people’s passion, the way their eyes light up when they talk about the thing they love and the way they fill with light."

Friendly Reminder: Passion does not rhyme with talent, it rhymes with practise.

(well technically it doesn't rhyme with any of them...but you know what I mean)
